How To Use The THEATERS Section On
StageMagazineOnline.com
This will explain how to use the Theaters section of StageMagazineOnline.com. From this page you can browse and search for theaters, productions, and theater locations. You can also find out what productions are playing TODAY. To get to the Theaters section, just click on the red ‘Theaters’ tab, all the way to the left on the top menu.
Sort by THEATER NAME, PRODUCTION, or LOCATION
On the page, you will immediately see all the productions that are currently posted. You browse them alphabetically by the theater name, production, or location. Just select the option you want from the pull-down menu on the blue bar at the top of the screen.
Browse THEATERS, PRODUCTIONS, or LOCATIONS that start with the same letter
Clicking on a letter of the alphabet below the blue bar, you will see all the theaters/productions/locations (see above paragraph) that start with that letter. So, if browsing by theater, clicking on W will let you see all the theater names that start with that letter, such as the Walnut Street Theatre or Wilma Theater.
Take a look at the THEATER ID page
Now, if you click on a theater name or on a production name, it will take you to the Theater ID Page. The Theater ID Page has a lot of helpful information – the address, ticket pricing, general information, a list of all the productions at the theater with all their show times and running dates, and any Call Board information the theater might have up.
The ADVANCED SEARCH option
Clicking on ‘advanced search’ just below the blue bar and the alphabet will give you more search options. You can type in a city, select a state, or type in a zip code. If you are sorting by productions, you can search by show title, by a list of production types, by the production rating (G, PG, etc), and by the date.
PRINT a page and find out WHAT’S PLAYING TODAY
Finally, if you click on ‘What’s Playing Today,’ below the blue bar and the alphabet at the top of the page, you will see a list of productions that are playing today. No hunting, no searching, just clicking that one line. Very simple!
And remember: you can print out anything you are currently looking at by clicking on the little printer icon to the left of ‘What’s Playing Today’ at the top of the page.
