Though Officially we work with Professional Theaters, University Theaters, Community Theaters, Summer Theaters, Theaters for Youth, and High School Theaters, it really is a pleasure to tell you about this.

Mike Braverman is a teacher at Haverford Middle School and doing great work with his students. Back when I had more time to do photography, I photographed a few of his productions, and I saw how much he helps his students learn about theater.

And Mike needs some help. Please read this and respond directly to him:

Critic wanted: The Haverford Middle School Theater Company will present "The Dinosaur Musical" on Friday and Saturday, December 7 and 8 at 7:00 pm. On Tuesday, November 27, they will hold a special rehearsal for the sole purpose of having experienced theatrical personnel (actors, directors, producers, teachers, etc.) critique the performance, in an effort to incorporate the constructive criticism into the final performance. This rehearsal is an invitation-only event.

Auditions this Week:

The Road Company Theatre Group will be holding auditions for Seussical on Sunday October 21st.

Dutch Country Players will be holding auditions for The Music Man on Sunday October 21st and Monday October 22nd.

Old Academy Players will be holding auditions for Send in the Clowns on Saturday October 27th and Sunday October 28th.

Always be sure to check with the theater AFTER their auditions if you REALLY want to be in that show. Who knows… maybe they didn't cast the very part that you want!
