A LIFE IN THE SPOTLIGHT: An Evening with Robert Prosky
WHO: Walnut Street Theatre and Philadelphia native Robert Prosky.
WHY: Philadelphia native Robert Prosky, currently appearing in the Walnut's production of Arthur Miller's The Price, will be hosting this one-night event as a benefit for the Walnut Street Theatre's Education and Outreach programs, which reach over 100,000 children annually in the Delaware Valley.
WHAT: A Life in the Spotlight: An Evening with Robert Prosky is a special one-night event presented by The Walnut Street Theatre. Join Mr. Prosky as he re-lives some of the highlights of his 50-year career on stage and screen. From his days growing up in Manayunk to Broadway and beyond, Get the inside scoop about his theatrical productions, film roles, co-stars and backstage adventures.
He is an award-winning actor that has seen it all: from stages all across the USA to Europe, Russia and China, from Hill Street Blues to Veronica's Closet, from Thief and The Natural to Dead Man Walking and Mrs. Doubtfire. Utilizing film clips, photographs, a question and answer session and a half-century of experience on stage and screen, A Life in the Spotlight celebrates the life of a great Philadelphian and a magnificent performer.
