Special Alert Blog for StageMagazineOnline.com - What's Happening in Theater The Week of February 18, 2008

Friends,

Let's Sell Your Empty Seats!

1) Are you USING Social Networking to promote your theater?

In addition to last week's article telling you that Maribeth (our Reviews Manager) and I (as chief marketing officer) are spending time on your behalf in Social Networking, Social Bookmarking, and Content sites, I want to expand with one more thought.

In addition to having all Theater Reviews on StageMagazineOnline.com getting extra push in MySpace, FaceBook, and many of the most powerful Social Bookmarking site (multiplying the impact of the words our Reviewers write telling the world about your productions), we can now announce the new StageMagazineOnline.com Facebook PAGE (different from a personal profile).

Even if you are not a member of Facebook (and over the next few months I'll bet that you WILL become a member because it's good for your theater experience), Click Here To See The StageMagazineOnline.com Facebook PAGE!

We will be doing a great deal of Social Marketing and we'll keep you informed: especially those of you who become FANS of our Page (people become "friends" of personal profiles but "fans" of business Pages).

Notice how all of our Reviews and Articles are aggregated right on this Facebook Page - including THIS blog!. We'll be adding more to the Page, so please join us as a Fan there right now.

2) Did you ever publish your own book?

Maybe you've never published your own book but perhaps you've remodeled a kitchen. Do you know how it takes WAY more time and many more dollars than you thought?

Dream Inc was conceived about 7 months ago and has just been published - on time and on budget - nearly unheard of!

You'll see here my book cover featuring me with Mike Capuzzi, the local chapter president of the Glazer Kennedy Insiders Circle (that meets monthly to discuss marketing and how to improve what we do). Inside the book I tell of the founding of StageMagazineOnline.com. And 31 other Philadelphia-area entrepreneurs share million dollar secrets to their success. I learned a lot from what the others had to say and am thrilled to be breaking the news here that the book is out! If you're interested, here's a link/ad directly to Amazon where you can purchase a copy.

3) Theaters: Remember to use our Articles and Releases section of StageMagazineOnline.com.

Remember to contact Kate if there is anything she can do to help you.

And we still need Reviewers!

As I wrote before, Google is spidering us a lot! Every time we mention your theater and your website, you rise in the rankings. Our Reviewers are having a great impact! If YOU would like to review for us or know someone who does, please Click Here To Contact Maribeth, our Reviews Manager! Just tell her you're interested (or give her the name and email address of someone interested) and she'll take it from there! It's easy to get started!
