Young People's Theatre Workshop - Classes, Shows, Camp, and Lessons For Life

Young People's Theatre Workshop (lovingly known as YPTW), which has been molding students from 10 - 18 years old, has been working its magic for about 30 years in Swarthmore, PA (outside of Philadelphia).

Classes in acting, singing, and dancing mixed with experiences on stage, in cabarets, working on technical theater, and in camp for a full week on the Eastern College campus in St. Davids, PA produces well-rounded, well-spoken young adults who live for theater.

Listen here as two groups talk about their experiences. Unrehearsed and unedited, you'll experience the energy that runs through their veins, their love for each other, their respect for their teachers, and the vitality for life they share because of their love of theater.

Recorded on Tuesday, June 26 before their peers, these two interviews are dedicated to Claudia Carlsson the Executive Director and her staff including Joe, Darrin, Liz, Paul, Page, Beth, and the many directors, musicians, and parents who help them throughout the year.
