Special Alert Blog for StageMagazineOnline.com for the week of August 13, 2007

Friends,

Big news from us for THEATERS:

You can now EMAIL your Articles and Press Releases to us and they will AUTOMATICALLY appear on our site! That's a BIG time saver for you.

If you want to go back and change some of the bolding or spacing, you'll still have to log in, but now you can just add us to your releases and INSTANTLY you'll be out to the world (where else does that happen!).

Two important things to remember:

1. You have to get a special email address from us: email Kate@StageMagazineOnline.com and she'll write back with the details. Your username and password for our WordPress Articles and Releases area still works, but only those having this special email address will be able to post by email their Articles and Releases. We will periodically CHANGE this address to keep our site secure.

2. Writing for ONLINE is NOT the same as writing for print - you have to write for both People and Search Engines. If you haven't read my article on the difference and want to take FULL ADVANTAGE of the power of Online Marketing with us, read this BEFORE submitting any article for us to post by email:

How To Write Good Articles For Online Marketing!

A quick story: I was at Upper Darby Summer Stage's Ragtime, The Musical on Saturday and in walked a woman I hadn't seen in 14 years. She told me that she searched the Internet for "Ragtime" because it was her favorite musical, came across our articles and reviews on StageMagazineOnline.com, and then showed up with her whole family to see the production (which, she said later, "blew her away!"). Newspaper articles don't get those results. Newspaper ads don't get those results. But through Google, Yahoo, MSN, and others WE GIVE those kinds of results… and YOU should take advantage of them.
