This will explain how to use the Talent File page of StageMagazineOnline.com. All the Talent File profile listings are displayed here.

If you are a GOLD or a PLATINUM Level Member, you are eligible and encouraged to have your Talent File profile completely filled out. Theaters can do an interactive search of this page, find you, send you a message on the private message board, and invite you for an audition or ask you to fill out a job application. All PLATINUM Level Members are eligible to be the Talent of the Day, displaying your photograph and name for all Members to see!

Theaters are going to be coming after you, so it is important that your Talent File profile page is complete and up-to-date. To get to the Talent File page, click on the red 'Talent File' button at the top.

View PROFILES, or search for people by NAME

On the Talent File page, you will see a list of people who have filled out their profiles. To see someone's profile, just click on their name. In their profile, you will notice a lot of useful information about physical appearance, vocal abilities, availability, etc. You will also see whether the person lists him or herself as an actor, staff, or both.

Back on the Talent File page, you can find people by searching for their first or last names. Clicking on a letter of the alphabet at the top will display everyone whose last name starts with that letter.

ADVANCED SEARCH

Clicking on 'Advanced Search' at the top of the page to the right of the search button will bring you to a list of Advanced Search options. You can select whether you're looking for an actor, staff, or both, as well as by gender. You can also search by physical characteristics, vocal abilities, and years of experience.

To select more than one option, just hold down the 'Ctrl' key when clicking.

Creating your own TALENT FILE

If you are a GOLD or PLATINUM Level Member, you can create your very own Talent File. Just click on 'My Talent File' at the top right of the screen, directly above the alphabet. You will be prompted to fill out the 'Add/Edit Talent Form'.

Though only a few fields are mandatory (you will see an asterisk next to them), please fill out the form to the fullest. This will ensure that the Theaters will find YOU when they are doing an interactive search for talent. You can also upload a picture of yourself, as well as a small sound clip of your vocal abilities.
