Quite simply: This whole idea of having MANY Reviewers, posting the reviews online, and giving everyone a chance to make comments immediately following the review came about after reading article after article about how "some" reviewers abuse the privilege they have.

Some (not all) reviewers see it as their duty to skewer every production they see. Some take pride in lambasting the fellow three rows over whose cell phone keeps ringing (annoying as that is, it doesn't belong in a Theater Review!).

So… our approach is different.

We have MANY Reviewers here on StageMagazineOnline.com and we give you PLENTY of room to comment about the production or the review in basically the same location as the review.

Join in. Tell people what YOU thought about the more recent production you saw. And when you want to become a Reviewer for us, send me two samples of your review writing and we'll sign you up!

Let's get EVERYONE chatting about theater, the productions you see, the theaters that deserve our support.
